Thread: MyGica A680B HDTV USB Stick Support
hello.
i've installed fresh copy of ubuntu, believe 11.04 on system , running standard gnome comes out of box.
love tv part of system working. did searching on past couple of days , here's found:
1. blog of manufacturer mygica/geniatech claims linux support card "coming soon". however, i've found forum posting 2010 referred description. not sure means , how date is. here's link:
http://www.mygica.com/blog/post/watc...tv-tuners.html
2. searching more seem have found archives kernel developers forum, show daniel gimpelevich submitting patches card.
date may 7, 2010 on year ago. here's link:
https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/97726/
made me think card may supported, however, trying metv drivers available in preferences drop down list failed produce other message "there no dvb devices available". not sure whether it's important i'm in us, should atsc.
tried xawtv got picture webcam.
can in know figure out status of driver usb tv tuner , of course, how perhaps work.
thank in advance
rudy
