Thread: SSD with windows7 won't dual boot

i built computer gigabyte motherboard, i3 processor, 8gb ram, 64gb ssd, , 1.5tb hdd. loaded windows 7 ssd... repartitioned drives , loaded ubuntu 11.04.
start menu comes select windows 7 or ubuntu... when select ubuntu screen reads:

windows failed start. recent hardware or software change might cause. fix problem:
1. insert windows installation disc , restart computer.
2. choose language settings, , click "next"
3. click "repair computer."

if not have disc, contact sys admin or manufacturer assistance.

file: \ubuntu\winboot\wubildr.mbr

status: 0xc0000098

info: selected entry not loaded because application missing or corrupt.

screen continues come up. tried load ubuntu wubi not install... have installed dvd load screen keeps putting me screen above. can't load windows cd won't recognize if change bios setting.

windows 7 seems running fine... , ubuntu seems have loaded fine... how can windows boot screen go , load ubuntu os?

help!

i not know wubi. need run boot script ubuntu livecd. if installed directly in windows download ubuntu , install livecd or usb. can run script livecd or liveusb.

v60 has improved formating , requires code tags make legible. new version zip file have extract .sh run.

wubi version installs inside windows ntfs partition , uses windows boot loader boot. intended windows users want extended trial of ubuntu without partitioning.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
