several things consider (and not agree techie, reinstall last thing try).
1. before going further, make backup of downloaded software. putting copy on cd or other backup device recommended. download may not available time, rather during current support of aax , time beyond. periodically folks ask question getting software paid , have deal adobe (good luck). did not download, understand still available login information or such used long still in time support window. if not have copy locally, see if can download (i assume @ not cost) copy of file archive.
2. if uninstall, sure deactivate first not lose 1 install on license.
3. before playing uninstall , reinstall, might helpful explain problem. there may simple solution. also, os , version of aax (i.e., updates)?
the general steps fixing things first repair (help>repair). next sure have updated software (help>updates -- more once if needed). if still having problems, deactivate, uninstall, remove acrobat folder, , run cleaner (from adobe). @ point typically reboot before continuing. reinstall download. once installed, open acrobat , activate it. updates (help>updates). again, reboot in order.
why not give idea of problem first. may agree techie if have same info work with, or might offer other solutions.
