GTX 570 vs. GTX 660 Ti

in previous thread, had asked video cards cs6, , result had pretty decided gtx 570 2.5gb vram sweet spot me, @ around $300.

 

but today reading gtx 660 ti, around $300 , seems competition 570.

 

but things seem better on 570, 2.5 gb of 320-bit vram versus 2gb of 192-bit vram on 660. also, evga gtx 570 comes lifetime warranty gtx 660 ti has 3-year warranty. hmm...

 

but other things seem better on 660 ti, 1344 cuda cores versus 480 cuda cores on 570. 660 ti's core clock speed 915 mhz versus 570's 732 mhz.

 

but tech specs 1 thing - i'm more interested in real-world performance , bang buck.

 

given 2 cards both $300, gut says go newer technology , lower power usage of 660 ti.

 

thoughts?

to honest, shaders in gtx 570 run @ double gpu core clock speed while in gtx 660 ti run @ same clock gpu core. gtx 660 ti, therefore, performs faster gtx 570 @ best. in addition, despite 192-bit bus width memory bandwidth of gtx 660 ti high gtx 570's 320-bit memory.
