JBOD enclosure for MBP

i'm going upgrading aging mac pro macbook pro. have many hard drives (1tb , 3tb) i've been using internally in mp in fw800 docks. i'm trying figure out how connect drives mbp, , i'm thining 4 or 8 bay enclosure good. want jbod (non raid), , mbp have fw800, thunderbolt, , depending on model get, usb 3.0 or 2.0.

 

i've heard thunderbolt crazy fast, multi bay enclosures crazy expensive.

 

usb 3.0 supposed faster fw800 iirc, i've heard can problematic transferring large amounts of data. the  multi bay 3.0 enclosures pretty inexpensive, i'm wondering if has experience these?

 

i heard this thunderbolt esata hub, , wondering if work mbp , esata enclosure (like usb 3.0 enclosures, seem pretty common , inexpensive).

 

if has suggestions i'd appreciate hearing them.

maybe i'm missing something, how lightroom support problem?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
