Question about book printing size

hello,

 

i working on book design. haven't decided on book size yet. now, there 2 sizes may choose from. need ask one's opinion has knowledge offset printing.

 

one size 295 x 250 mm portrait size. little bigger other.

the smaller size 230 x 260 mm landscape size.

we use iso a-0 printing sheets.

the book anywhere 250 300 pages.

 

my main question is, there price differences on these 2 sizes?

some people little bigger a4 size automatically calculated a3 size, double a4. these 2 sizes both little bigger a4 , fits within a3 size.

if there enough difference, want go smaller size. if can set mind on 1 size, save me lot of work , confusion.

i think size dependent on few issues: genre, type of content, , publisher name few.  minimize costs going smaller size obviously, i, one, cannot make recommendation without getting more specific on details.  have discussed size publisher?
