Removing section/category from URL (using SEF, mod_rewrite) - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello,
i've tried looking answer , have had no luck, hope here can help. seems simple thing can't figure out.

i'd remove category , section names urls. have turned on first 2 options in global config ( search engine friendly urls =yes, , use apache mod_rewrite =yes).

i have urls resulting this:
http://www.cubs.buffalo.edu/research/projects

and this:
http://www.cubs.buffalo.edu/projects

this can migrate previous "child sites" joomla while keeping original urls of sites http://www.cubs.buffalo.edu/bigproject (for example - not working link)
and keep urls short , sweet sharing purposes.
as far site navigation goes, "bigproject" page live on/link "projects" page, want url "http://www.cubs.buffalo.edu/bigproject" , not this: "http://www.cubs.buffalo.edu/projects/bigproject" users have link won't find dead page, , keep down length of future subpages.

am missing something? i'm running version 1.5.26. feel should setting somewhere in menus or article manager...

create menu item category. alias of menu item used in url.

PProHeadless.exe has stopped working error when opening projects in Adobe Media Encoder CS6

hi, upgraded adobe cloud cs6 , having problems adobe media encoder cs 6 (version 6.0.1.31 64-bit).   when try add adobe premiere projects in ame, gives me following error:   pproheadless.exe has stopped working   i tried rebooting, , still gives me same error.  project load, won't.   the premiere projects contain h.264 .mov file coming canon t2i.  added overlay logo bottom right of video created in adobe after effects, contains text, no effects, no motion, etc.  have .wav file recorded zoom h4n, not always.  edit in adobe audition remove noise feature.   i running on windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.  i'm using i7 16gb ram , ati 6870 video card.   i have lut buddy plugin installed.   it give me error first time try load project, , connection dynamic link server fail.  afterwards, if try load project again, if restart ame, stays stuck in connecting dynamic link server...   any provide appreciated. what happens when drag , a...
