Storing my catalog on separate fast internal drive...?
i'm curious whether performance issues lightroom 4 related setup...i on windows 7, 12gb ram, 2 750gb 7200rpm hard drives (internal) , several external drives. way have set is:
c: - lightroom installed (duh)
d: (separate internal drive) catalogs stored
4 external usb 3.0 drives store photos.
i feel lightroom doesn't fact catalogs on separate drive program (?), despite being sata connected fast internal drive. else have setup? affect performance?
thanks
p.s. d: drive setup primary scratch disk photoshop. negatively affect performance?

i not familiar technical term "doesn't like". problem?
i have same setup you, catalogs on d: drive , not have lr performance (or other lr) issues. (i not use ps, far can tell, unless lr accessing disk @ same time ps using scratch disk, shouldn't problem).
