Thread: iTunes to Banshee

i'm moving windows 7 ubuntu. have itunes db has music along playlists, ratings, play counts, etc... need move banshee on ubuntu. possible? don't care ratings , play counts. need have playlists!

there more elegant way this, here goes:

put windows version of floola on desktop in windows. (http://floola.com)

point floola towards itunes db location. take while index , show up. scroll through floola make sure can see playlists.

boot ubuntu , put linux version of floola on linux desktop. point floola towards new index db floola created under windows. click on windows partition in nautilus make sure windows disk gets mounted in /media.

if linux floola can read windows-floola-created db, new floola db should created within linux partition.

bring banshee , activate ipod plugin , point import toward new floola db. banshee should able read it.

it's possible banshee can directly read itunes database on windows partition, floola makes nice intermediate step because cross-checks , repairs database well. plus, can put floola on ipod , use control music banshee.

when find more elegant way of doing this, please post it.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
