Thread: Trying to install 10.04 Server from USB stick

here issue i've encountered:

i've attempted put iso of 10.04 server on usb-stick,
during installation run problem:

code:
no common cd-rom drive detected. [snip] manually select cd-rom module , device?
now, don't have cd-rom, (or, rather, won't bother plugging
1 in) that's whole point of using stick, , if don't have cd-rom,
refuses proceed. “installation step failed” etc.

impossible install ubuntu server usb stick, (without cd-rom)
or installation somehow corrupted?

when else fails try booting iso grub2 using multibootusb.

check iso's md5sum make sure not corrupt.
