Are System-Generated Secure Zone Passwords Temporary?
issue: customers not able follow link in emails secure zone password.
guess: bc issuing temporary user id's , passwords, if none otherwise specified in crm record person?
1) true?
2) if so, how can turn off?
why? because not gets around seeing email within 24 or 48 hours (or long period might be).

no not true.
bc passwords not sent. when have signup form have username , password field, password set to.
now there issue fields in form email sent out along auto responder or invoice in case of ecommerce tells them password option of reset.
this same email used when you trigger reset notification password in admin.
you can supress first time comes out adding paramater form action.
but if reset need ensure email easy understand , reset of password, not tempory password etc , fomat wish.
the reason link not work after 24 hours ish because other secure systems link generated system has expired , have run "forgot password" again reset it.
the link takes person system page on site enter new password.
you need sort workflow initial signup them logging in clear, presented well, easy use , easy follow.
