Captivate 5.5 won't open .cptx projects I created in Captivate 6

i created several tutorials using captivate 6, demos. looked fine in preview (using f8, f10 , f12), when posted on web (which done through our department), 2 of demo tutorials included images 1 slide bled slide. occurs on several different slides, scattered throughout project. did not happen in previews.

 

after reading comments on captivate discussion board, decided go using captivate 5.5. uninstalled 6 , reinstalled 5.5. when try open of tutorials created in 6, error message (captivate not open file xxx.cptx. ensure that: - file not open, - file not damaged - hard disk has sufficient space - system has suffcient resources). file not open, file not damaged (i worked in version 6 yesterday), , both disk , system have sufficient space.

 

how can files created in 6 open in 5.5?

captivate has never been backwards compatible, there no way open file created in later version in previous version, sorry

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
