Help - Akeeba backup has disappeared! - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

akkeba backup has disappeared...
i went in backend update latest core verion 3.6.9 when clicking update button in akeeba settings panel went wrong , told reinstall akeeba tried wothout success.
my next step uninstall akeeba things scheduler refused go away.
then tried install fromo tmp/ directory , successful still not appearing under components menu...
if in extensions > extensions manager there , seem ok still not visible in components menu.
how can solve this?
i want akeeba back....

this known issue joomla!'s extensions installer. um, cover in our troubleshooting documentation forbidden forum's rules supply link documentation wrote myself. i'll have describe how there... go akeebabackup.com, click on docs @ top of page, click on "troubleshooter - start here". find "installation, upgrade , update troubleshooting akeeba backup, admin tools , other software" article towards top of page , click on it. scroll down "joomla! 1.6/1.7/2.5 installation problems". hope helps!

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
