Payment Options, Paypal Pro and it ain't working.....
okay, got site , online (shopsweetsandtreats.com) , testing catalog/shopping experience. our client using paypal pro payment gateway. under payment options on registrartion-buy form, deleted unused options , left paypal (option 5). resulted in error message, shown here.....
we submitted support request , told needed change paypal option number 5 1 in html form. did. now, error message gone, receipt screen showing payment has been made (even though hasn't).
the form supposed redirect paypal continue transaction, not.

basically idea correct confused on how seamless vs non-seamless gateways works.

seamless - paypal pro , website standard not redirect , process payment within site.
non-seamless - paypal standard redirect paypal customer can complete transaction. payment option #5 for.
so based on requirements looks require non-seamless gateway set-up you'll need use paypal standard , re-apply payment option #5 form have resolved.
otherwise paypal pro since seamless gateway payment process w/o redirection.
