Photoshop CS6 extended won't import videos, help please?

before meat , potatoes (details), i'd ask don't @$$ answers, please, if friend doing wrong, don't "well, derp, you're doing wrong", tell me he's doing wrong can tell him , can fix issue. he'd post he's having internet issues of 10 minutes ago.

 

my friend got photoshop cs6 extended few things photos, wanted try out of stuff video editing, , since it's extended version, should (at least in theory) import video, right? wrong, no matter format converts gets error telling him he's using right kind of document. have seen photoshop video editor, friend has seen video editor, can't on copy of photoshop because can't video import no matter format converts to. there way fix or has promise of video editing in extended version of photoshop been lie? i'm confused, please help.

none of these formats work video editing in photoshop cs6 extended. can use photo wants try video editor since doesn't movie maker , can't afford other video editing software right now.

to see if there deeper see if video plays in bridge.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
