Questions about Audition features

hi, i'm new audition , have tried use it.

 

 

1. tried record using soundcard(audio interface) support 24 bit a/d.

   , 've had question, how check recorded signal 24 bit or not in audition.

   found sample values showed below, when opened other signal has different bit, limit of showing sample values same.. (2^23)

   (if opened 32 bit signal, must 2^31 didn't)

2. i'd know there feature adjust input gain level. know, can adjust output level in multitrack view.

   can not find how adjust input level in multitrack view.

   i can adjust level after recording finished, not know how adjust input level while recording.

audition's internal format 32 floating point. 24 bit recording contained within that.

 

unfortunately cannot control input levels within audition. down audio interface provide level adjustment or operating system's audio drivers if using internal soundcard.
