Thread: Control Banshee player with C

i want control bash player c program. tried

code:

system("banshee --next");

, problem program have ran sudo permissions (to access parallel port), reopen windows of banshee doesn't have of music (probably because administrator). tried add

system("su myusername");

before, stops program somewhy

it stops program because have enter password. echo password , use pipe transfer it, isn't recommended because of security reasons. can try if don't see risks. google find tons of examples on how it.
