Thread: Dual Boot Problem with Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.04

hi all,
has been nagging issue , have't been able fix it. if can help, i'd appreciate it!

have compaq cq50 laptop windoze 7 installed. installed ubuntu 11.04 , creted dual boot system. worked great until windoze update , thereafter, if run ubuntu, next boot windoze fails , have go through many minutes of inserting w7 cd , going throuhg restore/repair process.

on bootup, choice of couple of variations of ubuntu, windows 7 , original vista (which hidden on small partition along compaq recovery stuff).

tried using suggested partition tool (ebcd?) not find ubuntu partition... not use.

reaching point whre have ask how uninstall 11.04 , rid of grub , try on clean non-dual boot machine.

suggestions?

have both windows , ubuntu installation media handy.
boot windows install dvd , repair windows boot loader (an update not have modified @ all).
should it;

bootrec /fixmbr
then, reinstall grub2 mbr, not partition ubuntu installed on (ie. sda not sda4).

PProHeadless.exe has stopped working error when opening projects in Adobe Media Encoder CS6

hi, upgraded adobe cloud cs6 , having problems adobe media encoder cs 6 (version 6.0.1.31 64-bit).   when try add adobe premiere projects in ame, gives me following error:   pproheadless.exe has stopped working   i tried rebooting, , still gives me same error.  project load, won't.   the premiere projects contain h.264 .mov file coming canon t2i.  added overlay logo bottom right of video created in adobe after effects, contains text, no effects, no motion, etc.  have .wav file recorded zoom h4n, not always.  edit in adobe audition remove noise feature.   i running on windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.  i'm using i7 16gb ram , ati 6870 video card.   i have lut buddy plugin installed.   it give me error first time try load project, , connection dynamic link server fail.  afterwards, if try load project again, if restart ame, stays stuck in connecting dynamic link server...   any provide appreciated. what happens when drag , a...
