Thread: GRUB uninstall issues


first installed windows vista. followed ubuntu. followed debian. while installing debian accidentally installed grub boot loader. problem windows vista not shwo anymore in boot options. tried doing tricks mentioned in other websites. no luck yet. there new simple ideas bring vista boot options?

more details: linux installed in logical partition in main hard drive. know windows os safe because when began installing grub pop said have 2 other os in computer - vista , ubuntu.

if want return ubuntu controlling grub (and presenting vista option), boot ubuntu, run:
code:
sudo grub-install  sudo update-grub
this should point mbr ubuntu boot files, if looking for.
