Thread: puppet configuration of security services in ubuntu

i'm trying avoid having migrate machine fedora: it's either learn clone existing puppet manifests fedora ubuntu, or move fedora. i'm running several problems, including parsing errors rules work fedora , fail ubuntu, presumably because version of libaugeas-ruby older ubuntu (0.3.0) fedora (0.4.0). ubuntu, these rules fail "could not evaluate: not retrieve information source(s)". 1 failure of augeas use 'ins' command insert rule krb5.conf. can't think of reason these other older versions of libraries render puppet unable parse properly.

@ rate, wondering whether has had experience , success controlling security services in ubuntu (natty), such krb5, pam, screensaver locking, etc. should able hack way through these, keep hitting walls evaluation error above.

i've seen failure retrieve information error before ; 1 in case didn't have ruby.

generated because module directory not updated take account new client os in case centos. requires subdirectory each client operating system.

libaugeas error may ruby thing have tried installing 0.4.0 manually?

can try libaugeas-dev (which unstable version 0.4.1) might solve problem.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
