Thread: read and write to tty

here's story:

tl;dr - want setup remote computing scheme limited permissions on servers i'll computing on. need force terminal commands different ttys.

long version:
have home computer , 2 external servers. not have permission change on servers (config, install applications, etc). can, however, use them run python/perl scripts , applications installed on servers.

in order access servers, have tunnel through gateway.

both servers solaris machines, i'm using ubuntu linux on home machine.

want able have either program or script monitor ssh sessions between home computer , external servers home computer.

so, let th terminal on home computer, s1 , s2 terminals remotely connected server 1 , server 2, respectively.

want write script can force commands th s1 or s2 , read standard output.

main question:
tools can use achieve this? read link below, may written in klingon since pre-supposes knowledge.

ideally, th spawn s1 , s2 automatically (maybe in background) , communicate them.
