CS6 activation doesn't travel with Windows to Go

as ms technet member have access windows 8 rtm, loaded on test system, , created windows go version on usb external drive. de-activated cs6 laptop, fired windows go version of w8 on desktop, , installed 64 bit cs6 on desktop/windows go drive combination. activation completed ok, able update including acr 7.1, , functions worked ok, except ps disabled accelerated graphics. fixed trip asus website updated driver, , afterwards had full functioning no excuses cs6 running on w8 platform.

 

next moved windows go external drive on laptop - no problems w8 cs6 "lost" activation, decided trial version. , of course when tried activate informed me @ limit of two. it's clear (and should not have been surprise) activation process "fingerprints" hardware platform, , @ least @ point doesn't travel on over external drive. if wanted move ps computer computer w8 drive have deactivate after each use, , re-activate on new system. btw had moment of panic when moved w8 desktop, cs6 came in trial mode , had visions of having lost second activation. however, upon re-entering serial number gracefully accepted activation, apparently recognizing existing activation in effect.

 

this not acr subject, stuck here out of laziness, , info useful planning migration w8. have no problems w8 in general, although of course 1 has learn how navigate new interface, not big issue imo.

the question have adobe employee in forum plan change activation policy travel legitimately activataed version of cs6 on windows go external drive?  tried "chat" support group, waste of time, didn't know windows go was.

not familiar windows go either, but,

 

in past people have wanted put ps on external drive , take them different computers.  advice not work folders have on c drive, , there id number on computer installation prevent unlimited use of ps licence.  bottom line work on computer installed on.  not sure how figures in win8 windows go.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
