Image does not take settings given by Image Sizer plug-in - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello.

this mystery regarding image sizer plug in joomla 2.5 redim. want leave documentation here, regardless of solve or not:

i'm noticing strange behavior images being displayed in lightbox of module. somehow, i'm getting big image (3504 px. x 2336 px.) not being displayed @ dimensions respecified @ plug-in's characteristics in back-end, after following these steps:

1) in menu, went "plug-in manager" , selected "image sizer".

2) clicked in "basic" tab/window.

3) after setting "min size x (thumb)" , "min size y (thumb)" dimensions wanted thumbnail imaging display, entered "0" values "max size x (pic)" , "max size y (pic)", test if images display @ original dimensions in lightbox when clicking in thumbnail.

4) test i've done in last step, first saved last settings, went article manager, created article, , when writing article inserted image (a big 3504 px. x 2336 px. image) uploading through image button after text frame in tinymce editor (please note: not wysiwyg button!). inserted image in image folder wanted, make sure image introduced in article (i see right thumbnail @ text entered in tinymce frame article content) , clicked in "save" save article.

4) when testing image in front-end of site, see article text , thumbnail (with correct dimensions). click in thumbnail , see big image being displayed @ original dimension in lightbox (3504 px. x 2336 px).

5) test if big images, after being uploaded, display in smaller size after reediting settings in "basic" tab/window of "image sizer" options in "plug-in manager" menu. so, in "basic" tab/window, changed "max size x (pic)" , "max size y (pic)" 600 px , 400 px respectively. clicked in "save".

6) in front-end, refreshed browser see if article take modifications introduced lightbox displaying. , lightbox image still display big image @ original dimensions. so, returned back-end, , @ media manager deleted image.

6) went article manager, selected article created (the 1 first described), , inserted same 3504 px. x 2336 px image uploading again (same procedures described in step 4).

7) when testing if image display in 600 x 400 px settings in lightbox @ front-end's article, find continues displaying @ 3504 px. x 2336 px. size.

i ran same test other images, , modified settings @ plug-in manager image sizer in other tries, , settings seem taken these other images in display, first big particular image described, settings not being taken in lightbox. cleared cache @ browser too, conflictive image, if cache hasn't done anything.

i stumbled upon problem. when adding picture article, image adds in original size. weird, because image sizer doing work other images i've uploaded , attached other articles. can't understand what's happening, since image jpeg others. i've lowered resolution , uploaded again, still showing @ dimension not corresponding image sizer has display.
