Question about scanning and image resolution

i have have image following specifications:"the minimum image dimension 600x600 pixels. however, recommend using images @ approx 2000 x 2000 pixels(10" x10" @ 200 dpi). accepted file formats jpg or png".

 

what resolution have scan drawing @ image @ specification. also, if open new document, should image resolution settings be? confused..... in advance. oh, have photoshop cs(i know, old).

resolution term amount of pixels in inch or ppi.  feel 200 ppi sufficient set scanner software to. that's starting point.

 

i don't know size in inches of drawing is,bit if 10 x 10 inches, 10 in x 200 ppi  yields total of 2000 pixels want.  if drawing larger,you can reduce 2000 px using image size command once in photoshop.

 

so 2000 x 2000 on-screen "pixel dimensions," , ppi "resolution" how pixels relate sheet of paper. i'm not sure if work printed or displayed on web page.

 

new document size? depends work with.  manually enter want,and if find using same size,just save custom preset.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
