hey everyone.

have gaming pc. it's pretty powerful , doesn't have problem running on market. i've been struggling windows vista year , have devote of time fixing viruses, removing spyware blah blah blah i'm sure , don't need me repeat issues...

well, gives me such headache problems , want make switch ubuntu have used before, can't justify losing games.

well, talking friend today mentioned ubuntu has vm system, windows 7. don't know this. imagine if wiped off windows , replaced ubuntu , wine , vista vm. when running windows games, @ least 70~80% fresh vista install? can't imagine ever being 100% good, , i'm not expecting that, little drop in speed nothing compared headaches i'd save virus removal.

oh, in case interested, game i'm running league of legends.

running games in virtual machine not comparable playing straight of hardware, sometime won't lauch virtual drivers not ready yet such tasks. build virtual machines, need virtualbox (there many virtualization solutions, mentioning 1 free here)

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
