Thread: Problems with a Windows Recovery Console from Ubuntu

hi,

have packard bell system (atm) 4 partitions,
1: pq service
2: system reserved
3: ubuntu
4: unallocated (ive tried ntfs , fat32 here)

system reserved holds original windows recovery management tool load system factory defaults , when had windows 3rd drive worked no problem.

since i've removed windows , put ubuntu 3rd drive no longer work.

can boot in recovery management window when comes selecting destination recovery installed to, there no options. thinking because expecting /dev/sda3 windows drive , because isn't doesn't it.

if move remove ubuntu drive , use space ntfs (which make /dev/sda3) lose grub meaning wont able in recovery management console @ all.

has got ideas? driving me mad! want windows can sell

then try recovery cd. can recover (overwrite) grub windows mbr.
