Thread: Unable to connect to the Internet
i have installed ubuntu 11.04 on system (details below) , seems can hardly anything.
installed on laptop had windows xp sp3, creating dual boot machine wubi. *dual booting working fine* sorry, hand must have slipped on caps lock there....
1. how access systemtools?
2. using network manager, added connection mobile broadband, , connection seems work, still cannot connect internet. note usb modem works fine in windows.
modem: huawei e1556 claro (caribbean)
machine: panasonic toughbook cf30, dual processor. harddisk has 5 partitions. windows on c:\, ubuntu on g:\ wubi file.
if can help, geatly appreciate it. please note currently, can access internet via windows partition, means if have download install new package(s) in ubuntu working, i'm stuck.

be cautious *caps lock* next time!
add system tools, right-click on applications menu > edit menus > system tools (in left pane) > check configuration editor (others if wish).
symptoms make think connection working? please post outputs of following:
