What to do on suspicious frequent down ratings? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i wouldn't post question here opened ticket on this, still didn't reply team yet , getting crushed this.
one of our popular extension , commercial counterpart receive frequent down ratings since 1.5+ years already. didn't care , never opened ticket on (though used report button thought review sound odd). instead working , improving extensions , support. have professional (paid) 3 person full time support team , our extensions reached level of stability , features richness. there professional support free users - time allows, still active. people each other , majority appears happy.
now, right after 2-years vote removals, both extensions (free , paid) receive frequent down ratings, unusual, when other popular extensions in same category don't receive reviews @ (or few within weeks).
most of times, have no idea placing these reviews , therefore cannot tell if there gaming review system. report negative review, not asking removal, asking reviewer contact things sorted in favor. never happens. nobody ever answering , cannot determine user in our database (by comparing jed usernames , usernames on our site). there reviews contents reads bit constructed might personal opinion.
we don't know if jed asking people contact or not. if jed -- think --, means 1 out of 10 every contacting us. on other hand, developers not allowed ask status of report, makes hard track going on.
because of clueless going on , know how proceed in our case? tickets down ratings have lower priority? ever idea ask investigation on jed team might overloaded work? there can on our side except improving our extensions (as constantly)?
any help, suggestions , discussion welcome. thanks!

i can't speak jed team, understanding if review's outdated can request removed.
for example, review complains lack of feature in extension. now, , know that's not grounds lower rating, if you've never advertised feature (because doesn't exist) both know reviews can still posted. if provide feature a, in 1 form or another, i'm pretty sure jed team agree old review's no longer relevant , can removed.
