Changes to Template Won't Update Corresponding HTML Files

i'm using dreamweaver cs5 , when make changes template , save, not longer updates pages associated template. first time happened, deleted file cache , took care of problem. when tried again, didn't work. tried deleting configuration folder.  i'm hoping find fix because have on 3,000 pages need updated. please help!

"update template files: update files based on template?"

 

here's message getting:

"you have changed template. want update documents in local site use template?"

3,000 pages hanging off template @ least 10 times more should have.  wouldn't consider using template require updating irregularly more 100 pages.

 

at rate, message getting seems correct.  if assent prompt pages updated?  making changes non-editable regions of template?
