Cross Reference Sources appearing in Story Editor view but not appearing in the Cross Ref pane

i have imported word document containing working cross references indesign document. vast majority of these cross references import correctly , link destinations within document, there not working. if view text frame in story editor view, can see these "broken" cross reference sources came in word doc on selecting them can see there isnt corresponding entry in cross reference pane. said, there few behaving this.

 

what causing these not appear in cross reference pane?

 

obviously not appearing in list of cross references can't update them, , also, technically broken cross references, because source exists them there no corresponding entry in pane, on export epub, indesign crashes (if there 1 broken cross reference in document, export epub crash indesign).

 

also, clarify, in word doc if navigate cross reference failing once in indesign, can update properly, , navigate destination in word doc, it's not though these cross references broken before coming indesign. believe destinations these "broken" cross references coming across indesign can see them in story editor view.

 

supposed cross reference source selected in story editor view on left, no corresponding cross reference highlighted in pane on right:

indesign cs5.5 - version 7.5.3

microsoft word 2010, file type .docx

is panel in topic mode or reference mode?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
