Help - front end blank and lots of rubbish code visable - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i'm new joomla - building website in 1.5, , last night accidentally locked myself out disabling authentication plugin. @ first tried reuploading plugins folder, didn't have effect. came on forum solution , able in changing values in database.

however, there's new problem... when go front end site blank page. can access site adding /index.php, there lot of rubbish code @ bottom of page. same goes backend - lots of rubbish code @ bottom of every page. tried reinstalling template didn't have effect.

you have turned debug option on in administrator , why see debug information. debug option should off.

btw, why did install joomla 1.5? old version not supported. latest version has long term support 2.5.7.
