how do you treat such picture?

i have scanned picture. (actually can photoed.)

specifically, chinese calligraphics.

they color graphics although black.

their border hairy, no clear cut border.

 

my question is:

 

how transform color?

 

the original color black, black, not gray scale.

for design purpose, transform any desired color.

(the color need match other part of graph.)

i cannot use color replacement, since not 1 color. not black.

 

i can transform color, not arbitrary color since black heavy,

which original color mounted other color.

 

i attached 1 such picture may try it.

the paper used caused background can removed adjusting contrast , black/white threshold.

 

there's many, many ways.

i suggest easiest go image>adjustments>hue/saturation. click 'colorize box', increase saturation , play hue slider until find want.
