Installation Error 1402?

when try install reader 10.1.4, halts , gives me error 1402:

could not open key: unknown\components\3441bfa836fb1c34ba6c144e93fbba96\68ab67ca7da73301b744a0100000010

---------------------------------------------------------------

i able search registry , find keys. there 4 user names in registry, 3 of have full control. able select inherit permissions box, not able check replace child permissions box. not able rename or delete keys. using adobe reader cleaner tool did not help.

 

system: windows version 7 home premium 64-bit on stand-alone (non-networked) home computer.

 

what should try next?

are installing administrator user?

 

i don't understand why installer trying open unknown registry key; such things should not exist in registry.

 

are running full (offline) installer http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ ?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
