Non writeable Joomla Directories and files - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

on newly developed site, on moving live host, have encountered permission problems many joomla directories , files being deemed unwriteable. site running ok cannot add extensions or akeeba backup extension work.

i have checked permissions , correctly set .... directories (0755) , files (0644).

configuration.php seems configured correctly.

if run forum post assistant @ http://www.thesnowdonian.com/fpa-en.php shows directories non-writeable. problem.

so limited experience hosting environments, think ownership issue , way platform works.

i have asked host insist problem should able resolve myself.

the problem don't believe can change ownership via control panel or via ftp.

any suggestions welcome on how can resolve this? ( aware of setting ftp parameters in configuration.php joomla uses ftp want understand causing issue first. want sure haven't missed before go host).

i believe correct in saying it's ownership issue...

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
