Photoshop CS6 Color Management Inaccuracy

adobe:  reminder, color-management problem reported against photoshop cs5 still around:

it's illustrated here in screen grab, showing visibly inaccurate result of photoshop's transform, done in gpu, rgb values in prophoto rgb color space srgb iec61966-2.1 color space.  note circular banding , color shifts in should perfect gray gradient.

do think find in hearts fix before moving on layer more features on imperfect code base?

noel; chance think have hit same problem, , has been driving me crazy. working on series of images upcoming show , seeing same color artifacts in areas of grey above black. destroys image , mucks print. current workaround convert grey scale convert rgb , banding , color shift goes away. approach not give optimum print when using advanced black & white epson printers, way can exhibition quality print use quadtone rip.

 

so yes, pretty please please fix problem - way never noticed in cs5

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
