Premiere Pro CS3 on Windows 8 Enterprise - File Format Not Supported
hi guys,
some time ago installed adobe master collection cs3 on windows 8 release preview. had number of problems , gave up, final version of windows 8 available 90 day trial thought i'd try again. know isn't supported i'd upgrade windows 7 8 , can't afford upgrade master collection, figured i'd see how far can get.
- so, i've made clean install of windows 8. i've put itunes , quicktime on it. i've not installed codecs (except come these).
- i've opened premiere pro cs3 , tried old project file. opened insisted large number of media files offline.
- i tried opening files in windows - run okay.
- i made new project file in premiere , tried import, received:
these files imported correctly under windows 7. they're ones encoded h.264 using mpeg_streamclip. file details:
so looks codec missing, problem? i'm bit unconvinced can run videos in windows. there codec should try?
i've installed windows 8 on partition i'm happy play around providing can still deactivate master collection @ end. i'm going away couple of days next week apologies in advance if don't answer straight away :-)

are using compatibility settings run "old" cs3 on "new" win8?
go http://search.microsoft.com/search.aspx?mkt=en-us&setlang=en-us , search win8 compatibility settings
