Thread: Natty Browser Randomly Causing System Crash

whenever i'm browsing web on 1 of natty machines, i'm subject periodic reboots leave nothing in syslog. here's 2 constants i've discovered far.

happens when i'm using browser (plugin?).
doesn't matter whether i'm in chromium or firefox.
doesn't matter whether use unity or gnome 2.
happens every 2-3 days can tell.
problem not power related because i've tested , without ups present.

computer full reboot without shutdown procedure.

configuration of computer follows:
intel i3 2100
ecs h67 dual nic
haupaugge dual atsc tuner
mdadm raid 10
8gb 1333mhz (memtested)

browser plugins follows:
flash 10.3r181
vlc multimedia plugin (compatible totem 2.32.0)
windows media player plug-in 10 (compatible; totem)
divx web player version 1.4.0.233
quicktime plug-in 7.6.6

have problem? insight in how determining cause? don't understand how user space program without privileges can crash entire os without leaving trace.

nothing logged .xsession-errors ?
related ppa installed ?
