Thread: New Windows 7 Keyboard Shortcuts

i switched ubuntu few months ago. thing miss windows 7 new keyboard shortcuts moving windows between monitor or multiple monitor. allowed take 1 large monitor , use 2 pushing windows 1 half of screen or via keyboard. huge time saver people use lots of windows or has dual screens.

keyboard shortcuts:

win+up arrow
maximize window.

win+left arrow
maximize window left side of screen. second time sends left monitor.

win+right arrow
maximize window right side of screen. second time sends right monitor.

win+down arrow
minimize window.

i've searched , discussed answer before on forums have never found solution. grid options in compiz settings manager not seem work me. i've tried several other compiz hacks well. know how set in 11.04?

fyi, i'm using non-unity classic view in 11.04.

install wmctrl , try explained here; adjust commands mentioned there screen size , preferences. action other monitors on second time, don't have ideas on.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
