vector vs bitmap, gradient/transparency/filter performance questions on ios


so understand vector artwork done cpu , drawn every frame , bitmaps can loaded directly ram using gpu when have simple objects such masks , static lines, more efficient use vector graphics mask? or should bitmap?   line, since graphic made using equation rather wasting resources on large picture?

 

also when movieclips have filters on them such bluring, seems overlays multiple transparent copies of image onto selected movieclip. cpu have multiply each colour of transparent images arive @ final blur? when cache bitmap , edges feathered/transparent gpu multiply transparercies @ edges? or still cpu handles it?

 

i wanted know how stressing gradients on cpu/gpu, bitmap assume treated same other image vector more costley on cpu have on stage image?

 

if there tips graphics on mobile devices love hear them.
