"Featured Articles" pages not caching properly - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have redesigned website in joomla 2.5 @ www.thesnowdonian.com. 5 websites in 1 (see top right menu), each of 5 sites using different template style. each of 5 areas has own "home" page using "featured articles" page type show featured articles according selected article catagory. navigation between 5 home pages via top right menu on initial screen.

i developed on localhost , worked well.

but when moved live , caching switched on, problem has arisen. display of articles on each of 5 "home" pages getting confused. if when move 1 home page (using top right menu options), if joomla says, "ah, have featured article page in cache use that".......even though display wrong catagory of featured articles.

i hope makes sense?.
(as example, when go site @ www.thesnowdonian.com, on "snowdonia" home page. down page , see featured articles catagory snowdonia.....eg. "views yr aran". if click on "anglesey/ ynys mon" in top menu, takes anglesey home page. anglesey catagory featured articles should appear on page. see snowdonia featured articles previous page still incorrectly shown.)

give try. problem can replicated every time.

if caching switched off, problem disappears. switching off caching incurs significant performance penalty.

is there anyway force joomla force cache flush correct articles displayed?.

i suspect better take "featured" articles , display them conventional category blogs maybe using featured blog on true home page only.

you'll have change menu item types.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
