Company archive system - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
i thinking designing company intranet archive system (document management system), users, based on accounts , permissions, can access scanned pdf documents web browser, scratch, made company's archiving needs , without paying commercially available plugins.
currently microsoft access 2010, without sharepoint, makes design process , deployment living hell, not mention file permissions on shared folders, or fact can alter deployed form , alter database.
my idea host joomla website on workstation, people can access both website , pdfs when in office.
i managed export access database mysql format, don't know how go there, how bridge database joomla, how create user accounts, how create links pdf files on computer, , create search , filter-by-category options.
can give me pointers on begin learn how accomplish this, or did have similar experience?
