Full Annual Membership to 12-Month Pre-Paid Membership
i'm thinking of joining $30 creative cloud full annual membership on first year (since have cs3) , switching 12-month pre-paid membership (through amazon) on second year. know that full annual membership $50 per month after first year, figured can pre-paid $600 12 months , not worry every month.
are there consequences if go route? steps need make sure transition go smoothly? (do need deactivate/uninstall adobe products , contact adobe cancel current annual membership? or input new pre-paid product key?)
hi there!
in case, i'd highly recommend switching off auto-renewal once you've purchased annual membership. can make changes creative cloud subscription on account page on adobe.com: https://www.adobe.com/account.html click on "my subscriptions , services" in far right column. once full annual membership commitment ends, go in , make sure annual membership has expired , not automatically renew. have purchase 12-month pre-paid amazon , make sure use same account information used in first subscription.
the fee encounter in process if decide cancel annual memberships early: (taken creative cloud faq)
if decide cancel 3- or 12-month prepaid membership purchased @ retailer or online store, receive refund of 50% of value of time left on membership. cancel membership, contact adobe customer service.
to cancel one-year membership, can either go online account page on www.creativecloud.com or contact adobe customer service. if cancel membership before meeting 12-month commitment date, charged 50% of remaining amount left on contract.
so make sure full annual membership not renew after commitment date!
after annual membership expires or cancelled, applications have installed deactivated , won't able use them. don't need uninstall , reinstall them - you'll need enter new subscription information in application manager next time reopen applications.
