our company has purchased adobe cs6; our environment, our users standard, locked down users no rights install software; on both of our windows xp sp3 , windows 7 64 bit enterprise machines, have 1 drive split 2 partitions; c: drive main partition software installed , user has read access drive. d: drive second partition user has full rights to. additionally use redirected profiles through citrix profile manager shared server - app data , temp, along other folders redirected.

had issue since attempted install users. per other threads figured out issue photoshop (temporarily give user admin rights, change scratch disk c: d:, take away admin rights); issue has been around since indesign - 1 have issue with. when try , run program standard user, splash screen come , crash (on both windows 7 , windows xp sp3); resulting error appcrash indesign.exe, referencing module msvcr100.dll;

                rest done on windows 7 64 bit machine:

                giving user admin rights open, turn off welcome screen indesign; taking away admin rights (so not appear be               welcome screen issue);

                running in compatibility mode windows xp sp3, running administrator, , running combination of both;

                giving full access c: drive modify user

we cannot in our environment give users administrative access pc's many reasons. seems thing fixes it. in past we've had similar issues other products update fix this, still rather new update has not been put out adobe... looking work around may work major issue.
