Shop system w/ ability for customers to upload custom image? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello,

a customer of mine asked me set online shop, wanta sell customized products, individually printed shirts, buttons etc.

since prefer joomla cms build sites with, first out joomla-based extension, enabke this; e.g. virtuemart.
hopefully, 1 of can provide information, whether virtuemart or other joomla shopping cart extension able accomplish this.

please consider following situation:
the customer/user browsing shop shall able to:
- upload image of own design
- uploaded image shall scaled , integrated product image, placed defined position, give customer preview of how product like

does here have knowledge of online shop system bearing such feature?

personally have use joomla shopping cart virtuemart, , alright. limited , realized joomla awesome cms, , free shopping cart okay extension it. maybe paid ones better?

i prefer use shopping carts if main requirement. open cart, prestashop (my favorite right now), , many others. trump because shopping carts , that's do, cms/cms features pale in comparison joomla though. free , open source (you can find paid ones too).

so have ask yourself, want shopping cart alright cms functionality, or wicked cms alright shopping cart functionality? sounds need shopping cart. think prestashops cms features have come long way on time might lot more adequate, i'm using i'll let know (last time year ago think).

there templates/designs system out there, php/mysql based, , i've been , end using shopping cart based systems.

just experience , opinion.
