Thread: (11.04)Issue using Broadcom BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN on Lenove 3000 N100

please help!!!!!!

have lenovo notebook 3000 n100 built in wireless - broadcom bcm4311 802.11b/g. seems installed(as per screen shots) still can not see wireless networks. checked out of forum not find matching situation. appreciated. please find attached results of below command might give idea :

sudo lshw -c network

per 1 of screen shot seems "this drive activated , in use" still can not see routers(including mine) can connect. wifi led not glowing.

this solved.... set after trying below steps :

1) use below command uninstall default installed driver :

sudo apt-get remove bcmwl-kernel-source

2) once above step done, download below driver 32-bit/64-bit system respectively :

for 32 bit: http://ie.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/...untu5_i386.deb


for 64 bit: http://ie.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/...ntu5_amd64.deb


3) install downloaded file , restart. wireless networks show , should set.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
