Thread: 2 Windows, 1 ubuntu


hello, have used ubuntu bit , enjoying it. had upgrage pc because ran out of space , decided better setup ubuntu. use 2 hard drives in notebook computer copy of windows installed on each. dual boot widows can play games on 1 little overhead. had installed ubuntu through wubi partition first drive , install ubuntu time. question either, grub detect both windows on different drives or how set to? haven't installed ubuntu yet or partitioned drive because don't want mess up. thank in advance!

pc specs:
hp pavilion dv7-1175nr
windows 7 x64 work (drive 0)
windows 7 x64 play (drive 1)
drive 0 500gb
drive 1 500gb
cpu: intel core 2 duo t5800
ram: 4 gb
gpu: nvidia geforce 9600 gt

quick answer question yes, grub able detect many operating systems , windows sure.
however, if had ubuntu installed before via wubi need know wubi not real installation. it's virtual installation.
