Thread: Employer Concerned About Malware Transmission
hello everyone
presently work web designer happens windows user. job type short biographies input database found on website created. either send entires in zip files or bring them in person on flash drive.
informed had installed ubuntu following major issues/malware taking residence in windows vista. interestingly enough, more concerned me "serving vector" viruses when running vista trend micro security.
question is: concerns valid? if so, can resolve issue? (she insists install form of malware protection, i'd know whether or not necessary avoid downloading/installing extraneous applications.)
for normal computer use, wouldnt worry it. dont use sort of virus protection , ive never had virus in linux. use firefox browser noscript , adblock plus protection.
if boss concerned it, install clamav keep happy.
