Footage import without problems, sound is playing but video is still framing
i bought me premiere elements 10 because got hundreds of gb family videos made jvc gr-d325e.
i imported them pc given windows utilities months ago , before bought pe checked out editing possibilities ppro test version without problems regarding import , usage of footage. decide buy pe edit private family videos with.
now got 2 problems.
a. when attach camcorder pc windows able digitize, pe organizer display there no camcorder attached while windows can find it. when open pe instead of pe organizer can find camcorder right clicking , import footage, how can happen?
i attached 2 screenshots issue, 1 showing organize won’t find camcorder, 1 shows pe react differently letting me digitize content found camcorder… both screenshots made same moment without retouching camcorder connection.
b. other (bigger) problem imported footage use standardly dvsd codec , when import footage (not depending size problems) pe via right click dialog can import without problems or error message when want edit or play content frame stand still , sound playing well. when make film without taking notice of behavior result got same still-frame effect.
what problem , how can fix this? there had way otherwise pe useless me.
please give me hand solve issue in time.

ps: in pe way of making film “freigeben” option? out-greyed export option under file?
according illustrations, trying capture video using photo downloader. won't work.
i believe camcorder minidv. right?
if so, in premiere elements (not organizer) , click media , select option capture dv camcorder.
your camcorder need connected computer ieee-1394 firewire cable (not usb).
if use premiere elements capture video on firewire connection, video should load project set dv video.
if used device of software capture video or captured on usb connection, video may not compatible premiere elements.
