Freehand import of CS5 broken after installing CS6

hello,

 

on windows 7 machine freehand import of illustrator cs5 , cs4 broken after installing cs6 creative cloud.

 

i can still select freehand file open , dialog box appears, after choosing ok nothing happens. no file opens , no error appears. doesn´t depend on freehand file because other machine cs3 can still open these files.

 

what can do  repair illustrator? - it´s part of master collection install.

i not sure 3 items share common file on mac called com.adobe.illustrator.plist , resides in same directory settings folder.

 

i not know if exist on windows cn remove on mac , fresh 1 generated after relaunch of ai.

 

how works on pc not know if works same way can try trashing , relaunching cs4 or cs 5 , see if problem goes away.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
