HDV Capture Slow in PPro CS6

i experiencing feels slow capture times when capturing live hdv footage through firewire.

 

i shooting in home studio canon hv20 hdv thru firewire.

 

it takes half time length of clip ppro insert project panel, while windows aero wheel spinning.

 

and several seconds conform or whatever it's doing when orange progress bar working in bottom right of screen.

 

so 1 minute clip takes 30 seconds ppro insert project panel , several seconds conform it.

 

is typical pc following components?

 

i7 2600k

16gb ram

gtx 470

850 watt psu

 

c: drive 120gb ssd (where ppro program is)

e: drive 3tb barracuda (scratch disk capture)

f: drive 1tb barracuda (media cache , media cache database)

 

i've run virus scans , have ms security essential running realtime.

 

i've optimized windows trimming runs @ startup , services can run.

 

i've run ram-checking program on , good.

don't. wait until captured, indexed , conformed. edit.
